Hi Ian,

She looks very good for a 1962 production! ThumpUp

Mine is the later Br141 version, and comes in a multicolour box. I also have a 3034 which looks identical to yours but is painted blue, and a later Primex blue and cream example, 3199.

Hi Ian,

Of course I can remember Keesmarklin.
I look 10 times a day in his Ebay shop. Laugh
I have also bought my 280A transfo at Keesmarklin (and more).

May I suggest you an other very reliable Dutch stop that shipped worldwide used Marklin??

http://www.maddog-trains.com/

Maddog is also on Ebay.

Marco

EDIT: I'm a big fan of this TEE !!!
Looking forward to your TEE photos !!

Hi all,

Here's my 50 year old E41 3037, running on both a digital and then an analog layout without any adjustments.

Your E41 is in great shape, much better than mine !

Mine is from 1957 (I am from 1971...) and I use it in push-pull operation with a set of Silberlinge. Equiped with a 6090x decoder it runs great !

have fun,
Gregor

On a German forum was a post today from someone who bought the rare kit 3937 of the E41 (3937) for only $ 38 with some lovely pictures of it.

Hi Ian,

Have I overlooked your photo' s of the 3071 - 4071 TEE ?? Confused
Or are you still working on it ??
Today I saw an original 3071 instruction booklet for sale (HERE), and it reminded me of the 3071 you bought from KM, see post 10 and 18.

Hi Marco,

That's 5 weeks passed since she arrived here and on Saturday I was going to give her a run on the layout, opened the boxes and noticed that on the extra coach 4071 that one of the passengers had fallen off his seat.

I thought, easy job, lift off the body and a little glue......as I lifted the coach body off 9 of the windows fell out!!!!

And then I couldn't find the glue.Cool

I'm sure Ray will know what I'm talking about.Smile

Ian.

Hi Ian,

I used "Clearfix" glue to stick them back on. It dries totally clear, so you don't need to worry about getting glue on the windows.

Hi Ray,

Thanks, I've not got them refitted yet, I will check the other coach, there's 1 window inside it, so probably more will fall out when I take the body off.

Ian.
