Hello all,

I use currently 2 60652 mobile stations to control my loks, when I (rarely) set my layout. I am considering buying a 60653 new model mobile station to be able to control more sounds on the new loks. Because I have only a couple of loks that have more than 8 functions, I would like to continue to use one of my 60652.

So my question is: can I use both 60652 and 60653 at the same time without any problem? (I believe yes, but I'd like to be 100% sure.) Unsure

Thanks a lot in advance for your help, and my apologies if the info has been given already, I have nod had time to read the posts lately, unfortunately!

Cheers,
Ricky Smile

PS I am very busy with my job right now, I am missing reading you guys!! I hope I can be more active soon. Take care.

Hi Ricky,
Sorry to say they are not entirely compatable, and require the different track connector boxes. The only time you can use them together is connected to a CS2 Blink So get two 60653's and sell the others Huh

" Every Marklin layout needs a V200, a Railbus and a Banana car", not to mention a few Black and red Steamers, oh and the odd Elok !

CS1 Reloaded, Touch Cab, C Track Modules, K track layout all under construction. Currently Insider

Hi Ricky,

I bought 1x60652 and 1x60653 (both new from starter set on eBay) and the second is much more better, as has more functions, can control also switches and signals and, last but not least, the knob control is more reliable.

Cheers

Renato
