Time to see some ICE trains running through the station (and parts else where) via our traffic reporter helicopter from the 5MMRCSA-FM (playing golden oldies to olden goldiesBigGrin Blink Flapper LOL )

Two full eight consists

And one SASPAN (with a slight difference, see if you can pick it).

Yup, it has grownBigGrin

Added three ICE 3 carriages to make an eight consist.

Most probably will never happenFlapper but it does on our layout.

A question to all you digital and Mfx experts.

I hit the CV button on the CS2 for the ICE 3 and got a warning about changing the settings (as the ICE 3 was Mfx) and that I could basically stuff up it up if I continued.

I'd like to increase the speed of the ICE and increase the volume on the station announcement but am worried if I did I could render the ICE possibly inoperable.

Is that possible?????

All advice gladly acceptedThumpUp

Hi Dusan,

I've just noticed you were not "running round" with these Loco's.....RollEyes

It does look really good and the speed is awesome.ThumpUp

Is it a CS2 controlling them and if so what is the speed dial set at.

We've set the modular up again since the exhibition and allowed more room at the far window side, but I still can't keep up with the ICE, so the 'helicopter' view.

The speed was set at 'flat chat' on the CS2 - 250. So was the SAPSAN.

I have another ICE 3, three car unit, originally brought out as a special Märklin/Stuttgart VBF eight dip switch decoder model, that went quite a bit faster then the latest ICE, and when I ran it at the exhibition three years ago it got a lot of comments on its' speed (that's why I super elevated the bends). I'd like to get these new units running at that speed as well but am loath to fiddle with the settings unless I'm quite sure I won't stuff anything up.

When the ICE stopped running a couple of TEE's took their place.

The helicopter was still in the air, so I kept filming

Enjoy.

After the TEE's left, we had visitors from Switzerland

Couple of Ae 8/14's passenger trains.

This helicopter has unlimited fuel, it just keeps hovering.BigGrin Laugh LOL Smile ThumpUp Wink

I'm sure Ian would have seen the Silver Ae 8/14 parked in the station with a load of................what else, but BANANAS.

As it took off the BR103 TEE came back.

Enjoy

Hi Dusan,

Great video's, can you get the Helicopter to pull back a bit and get the overall layout in.

As you might have guessed my favourite is your Banana Train but did I notice a couple of imposters in that train. Unsure Smile

Really enjoy your video's, I appreciate the time taken to show them. ThumpUp

That's all for now, until the helicopter gets refueled (sometime in the next four weeks)BigGrin.

See if I can get the whole layout in the video as Ian requestedThumpUp ThumpUp

Very Nice Video's Dusan BigGrin

You should be able to edit the speed of any MFX decoder with the CS2. Ignore the warning and go on to have a look at the settings. Factory default is usually flat out except for a few models like the Rail Buses, where it mentions not to fiddle with the speed in the handbook.
Not having a factory MFX ICE III, I can't check mine to be sure tho Scared
