Good evening everyone. Today is my Birthday and to celebrate my wife suggested we visit one of the Hobby Shops about two hours away that is loaded with Marklin stuff. So of course I agreed. And I ended up buying a couple new steam locomotives. Marklin 37251 - Fireless Steam Locomotive - I have seen this locomotive before and really always liked it so I was really happy to get it today. And I bought Marklin 37557 - GR. 460/BR 55 - I just loved the look and thought it would look great on my layout, I think the markings of this locomotive are for the Italian State Railroad, doesn't really fit into my all DB scheme but who cares, it looks great. Both are digital and ran very well on my layout today.

Nice loks. Happy Birthday... I hope you enjoy them ... now is time to buy some FS wagons. I have been buying some Piko FS wagons and so far they run pretty great with my Italian Electric locomotive.

Hi Chris, 40 never bothered me but 30 did for some strange reason. Anyway, next year will be the big 60 for me. You're a lucky guy. Your wife sounds like a real keeper! Peter
