Nice additions Steven! If I can make a suggestion, I would make an extra mass point to the second axle of the closed car for better power pickup

Very good, Ian! You must be causing a world-wide shortage of banana vans. Have you noticed the prices starting to go up? |

I bought myself 3 4000 coaches from ebay, to go with my 3000 Br89. I want to re-create the train I played with from my childhood. From the same seller I also got a 4635 ballast car. I have been meaning to get one of these for ages! Edited by user 08 July 2012 21:52:05(UTC)

Wow! Great wagons in that lot, Stephen! Some of those are on my wish list. I'm trying to get one example of each of the 1960s freight wagons. You seem to have most of them in that lot! |

Hi Guys, Sorry for the silence but things have been so hectic recently and I have had to visit the Carribean a few times, which as you can imagine has been real hard work Some lovely items been purchased and on display on this thread, I especially liked Jeremy's astrological set, very nice, and did not even know they existed!!! It is real nice to log on and follow a thread which shows you some new and unusual item made by Marklin. I am sad to say that over the past three / four months, I have not done any Marklin related relaxation, and I have not even been able to make any Marklin Club UK events I have still been doing a little Fl-ebaying, and I have tried to direct my attentions to rolling stock items and a few carriage sets, but nothing too exciting. I have therefore grouped my new aquisitions together to keep it simple; I promise I will try and contribute more in the coming months.................... Best Regards Glenn

Thanks Ray, yes I will get down and into the detail, but it is looking like September now before I get a chance!!! I think my week-ends are all booked up till w/e 15-16 September. I hope you had a great trip to Antigua, great photos on the other thread. BR Glenn

Thanks Ian, it is nice to have five minutes to catch up. I am not complaining I am glad to be busy, rather be out and about with work than sat bored in the office. By the way on the Today Photo's thread there is a picture of one of our bridges as you requested. I did not know where else to put it. I hear there is a gathering this week-end at your place??!!?? Have you a theme yet? BR Glenn
