(Cross posted to The Cave also)

I went along to this show today, pretty much like previous shows but still enjoyable. Three Marklin layouts in attendance, one next to the Frey stand and two others, all three showing Marklin at their best so I can't complain about that.

Even managed to score a couple of pre-loved K83's from Frey for $30 each which I thought was a good price, tried hard to find an S88, the other main thing I need for the cookee-bahn but no joy there.

One display I had not seen before was a Triang/Minic combined display. And the first time ever I've seen Triang with the original Catenary. All in all it was a tidy layout although some of the integrated accessories were not being shown off to their full advantage - not a criticism, there may have been technical issues but I hope to see it again.

I didn't realise until this morning that the show was even on, with Nadine away for the weekend I was at a loose end and thought I'd just check the railway calender. If I'd known earlier I'd have suggested a meet-up with some other Melbournians who might have gone along. Always more fun with one or two others.

Cheers
