....Stephen, you got the set 48370, I've seen those DSB sliding walls boxcars in a shop it is a beautiful set at reasonable price : the quality of printing & painting is outstanding, remarkable,.....isn't it ? I've seen the Tubize, as well....wow...what a beautiful black painting !!! (Almost the same vein than the former "club Tubize" model despite it was weatherized...+ probably an even improved characteres printing...) PS remember....the former "club Tubize" edition about 10 years ago was delivered with gloves ...(to be handled with care...) Edited by user 02 June 2012 08:51:26(UTC)

Hi Stephen,
Thankyou for sharing your collection with us. Some of the models are quite unique, especially to be all in the one place.

...On the "Tubize" model we can read an original name of the home depot written on the right side : " trois vierges"....(= the three virgens....) I'm curious to know the historical origin of this name in Luxembourg....

I don't have 37158 but on my wish list. 10 days ago I've seen them both 37158 & 37154 at the shop...Both have the same nice black color livery...but are very different in terms of external appearance : the Norwegian 37158 is more like the German look, typical war machine, only few additions on the body, much more sober than the Luxembourg version . One amazing detail on the Norwegian is the color of connecting rods : they are in blue color (metallic blue).... quite surprising ! It's interesting to have both of them, I'm thinking about another particular & amazing BR 52 : the Belgian version with condensation tender in a beautiful special grey livery and with a lot of special additions , I got it already, that's why I'm very tempted by the "Tubize " version....also probably by the sober Norwegian with its blue rods...to make them meeting together on an early Era 3 European depot (...just because at that moment they needed a special maintenance for br 52s...
