If you had a snow covered landscape it would look like some of those great scenes from my favorite film

Hi Peter,

I cannot remember very well but I think Omar Sherriff(hope have written it correctBlushing )starred....but I do remember one single scene very well.He had seen his girl-friend on a bus or a tram, but could not get off,a dramatic scene...also his polo neck jumpers had become very popular....Smile

Hi Mehmet,
Yes, that's right. It was the end of the film when he saw the beautiful Lara (played by the
lovely Julie Christie) from the tram. He began to run after her and sadly died. Omar Sherif was just super.
The film was sad but had some very beautiful scenes. At the time, the Russians banned the book and
the film because it was anti-communist. The country winter scenes were filmed in Canada (railway scenes) and Finland and Moscow was a film set built and filmed in Spain near Madrid. I always watch this movie whenever it's on TV. The music is so beautiful too.
Here is the scene you're writing about. So sad. Peter
