mehmet,

I have a question for you. I noticed that you have the Marklin RELEX couplers and the newer Marklin close couplers in your locomotives and cars. My question is, are these couplers compatible to each other? Can you couple a RELEX with a close coupler? All my locos have RELEX or TELEX couplers. I have never used the close couplers. Thank you.
Regards, Roberto

Hi Roberto,
So far I have not had a big problem...The couplers you see on the locos are the original ones.I mean they were on the locos when I bought them. Most of them second hand.Because I only collect analog locos[:(] I do not have other chances such as the new ones or the newest ones. But when I have a problem I simply change them from my coupler stockwink
Hope have been able to answer your question....

Hi Mehmet,

Thank you for your reply. My question is if a "close coupler" in your newer locos(the couplers that look slanted)can couple with a car with the older "RELEX coupler"(the ones with horizontal look); or if you need to use an adapter or something like that to couple both. Thank you.

Hi Roberto,
Even in original sets such as in the picture, the old and new ones are in the same pack[:(]
In this case surely I have problems with the old and new couplers. No,I don't use an adapter or something like that...

Great video! More than 30 carriages!

And, even if they are not 60, it is very much for a steam loco!

Dear Mehmet,
There is a very big modelrailway open for the public in Rotterdam, called: RailzMiniworld.
On 19th February 2009,they run a special train of three NS1600 locos plus 60 coaches, because on that day it was twenty years back that the NS 1607 made her record trip.
The model train had a weight of 12 kg and was 16 mtrs long.
Please see website www.railzminiworld.com.
On the right hand side you can click a link to: Langste trein ter wereld.
On this linkpage, there is a link to:Feijenoordse meesters, which gives a full report with pictures of the actual record attempt in 1989,the preperations, the material used, the public interest, the press, etc,a very interesting site,i think.
Enjoy!

Best regards,
Paul.

And, even if they are not 60, it is very much for a steam loco!

<br />Dear Mehmet,
There is a very big modelrailway open for the public in Rotterdam, called: RailzMiniworld.
Enjoy!

Best regards,
Paul.

Dear Paul,
Thank you for the link, though I couldn't open it.It might be because of my PC.I'll try again tomorrow and let you know.

Great photos again, Mehmet!

I enjoyed your video and I am quite surprised that the very long train stayed on the track at the high speed in the sharp curve.

not being critical, but you would think AMárklin could of put all the electronic Board on the Roof and covering it with different baggage items.

Nice Photos and another nice collection of locos.
