Hi Ray,

Your encouraging words have really relieved me.Because sometimes I am asking myself; Why am I sending pictures to this forum?

Most of them know trains and Marklins much better than I do.I feel as if there is no point with the thing I am doing. But then

I remember my younger days when I could not find a bit information or a picture of Marklin.Who knows maybe,

far a way from me,somewhere in the world someone may still have the same problem as I did. Then I decide to go on.

But your words really mean a lot to me. I will try my best,RaySmile

Thank you again...

regards,

mehmet

Brilliant collection of locos.

Just one question - the pop coaches are graffiti'd. Is that through applying paint or transfer or did they come like that as I have a pop coach set but they are not "tagged".

The pop coaches and the loco came like that. Maerklin item number is 2872. I cannot tell you exactly the year but I think they must be from 1998.At the moment I am not at my train-house.I will send you more precise information tomorrow[:I]

Your pictures do look great though with the way you have dressed up the M-track. I have a fair bit of M-track and I wasn't sure if I was going to use it on my future layout but seeing what have done has inspired me.

Please keep the pictures coming. It is great to see trains that I may never see otherwise because they are no longer available.

Cheers...

Very good, Mehmet. The "Hobby" Rheingold set was one that I nearly bought about 10 years ago. I ordered it from my dealer too late and it was out of production. As a consolation prize I got myself the Br216 and three tinplate coaches in Blue/cream livery...well the colours were almost the same!

Once again congratulations on such a fine collection. I have never seen so many sets owned by one person before!
