Here's a nice photo from the same layout (Dortmund 2009); a Turkish steamer (44001 - modified Roco Br55) crossing a bridge ...

Cem,
I understood, after the Exhibition (May 2009) the layout would go up for sale.

WOW.. beautiful! Most of the details have to be scratchbuilt. The ladder and interior picture of the control tower is unbelievably realistic!

This has to be the most beautiful layout I've ever seen. I have it favorited from the Dortmund 09 site. I go to that sight often just to admire the detail. These pics are just as good, if not better. Thanks for posting them, John!

Good afternoon,

Jacq Damens layout is indeed one of the finest I've ever seen, played with and photographed.

The latter was not only done in Dortmund 2009, but also at his homestead, where I was invited to shoot in bright daylight some of my Era 1 models.

Please have a look at (and click on the picture for another one):

1. bay. S 2/6
2. bad. IVh
3. wrt. Tn
4. wrt. T5

Best regards and enjoy,
Frits Osterthun
